Painting is not a language and language is not painting.
I eliminate adjectives from my painting, the imperfect and the narrative past perfects, the imperative, participles, and the passive voice; nonetheless, I keep the simple past, which is sometimes related to ambiguity and less often to polysemy, I keep it as a passport to cross the border of the inverted future tense without problems.
I play with words to exorcise the terror of the unspeakable, but mainly for its loving touch on my cheek at night and, alas, every day in front of the canvas.
