Description & Specifications

What is Caligula? An angel seeking the absolute or a bloodthirsty monster? Before the war, Albert Camus perceived him as a hero of the absurd. Later, his interpretation of the Roman emperor was considered, among other things, an allegory for Nazism. Since then, for decades, this particular character has been categorized as one of the most multifaceted and crucial in modern theater.

In Misunderstanding, Martha and her mother murder their inn's customers to seize their money. A "modern tragedy," where misfortune does not stem from blindness, as in the ancient Greek creators, but from a desperate desire for happiness.

In February 1905, in Moscow, a group of terrorists belonging to the Socialist Revolutionary Party organizes a bombing against Grand Duke Sergei, the Tsar's uncle. The peculiar circumstances that preceded and followed constitute the core of The Just Assassins.

In State of Siege, an unpredictable disaster disrupts the residents of a coastal town. How do people react when they are scared? In this volume, the four top specimens of the Nobel Prize-winning author's original dramatic art are gathered.
