Thermal magnetic circuit breaker for protecting wiring installations from overload and short circuit. It can also be used for controlling and isolating the installation.

  • Breaking capacity of 6000A according to IEC 60898-1 standard for residential installations.
  • Tripping threshold for short circuit between 80A and 160A (curve C between 5 In and 10 In).
  • Can be powered either by a copper cable, comb busbar (top or bottom side), fork comb busbar (bottom side), or Legrand HX3 bridging busbar (top side).
  • Protected against solid objects larger than 12.5 mm (finger protection): IP20 according to IEC/EN 60529 standard.
  • Maximum level of energy let-through (energy limitation class 3 according to IEC 60898-1 standard).
  • Can be equipped with Legrand DX3 auxiliary components and accessories.
  • Can be connected to aluminum cable with Legrand DX3 terminal accessory no. 4 063 10.
  • This device complies with substance restriction requirements and has been designed within an environmentally conscious process.

Installation must be carried out in accordance with installation rules, preferably by a qualified electrician. Before installation, read the instructions and consider the specific installation position of the product.

Operating Curve

The tripping curve shows the time required for the circuit breaker to switch off in relation to the current passing through it. For small overcurrents, the tripping is delayed to avoid unnecessary interruptions, while for very high values, such as in the case of a short circuit, the breaker operates immediately to protect the circuit. Different types of curves are used depending on the needs of each installation and the type of loads.

The most common in general installations, ideal for circuits with motors or electronic devices.
