Description & Specifications

One of the most popular skins in the category Musical Instrument Skins, the Evans EQ3 Resonant Bass Drum Skin with Microphone Port offers excellent sound control and ideal performance both in the studio and on live stages. Made from a single 7.5mm thick sheet, it provides a balanced combination of durability and response.

The skin features a built-in 10mm harmonic control ring, which reduces unwanted resonances and offers a clearer and more controllable sound. The side microphone hole of 5 inches (offset) allows easy microphone placement without affecting the structure of the skin. The special plastic surround of the hole helps focus the sound, enhancing it and protecting the area from damage.

Ideal for use in all environments – from studio recordings to large stages – it provides consistent and reliable performance.
