The masks.gr surgical face mask is Type II and intended for single use by adults. It has three layers, with an antibacterial meltblown filter with BFE ≥98% in the middle layer and waterproof green non-woven material in the outer layer. It is intended for use by medical personnel during surgical and other medical procedures to limit the transmission of infectious agents from staff to patients.
