Amazing machine. I mainly use it for printing photos. With quality photo paper, e.g. Canon's glossy, it produces crystal-clear photos.

After two years of use, the left printhead is leaking ink.
No matter how much I searched, I couldn't find a replacement anywhere, not even abroad, so it's going to be thrown away.
It's a shame that a company like Canon does not ensure (obviously on purpose) that spare parts are available on the market for several years after a product is released.

Good printer, produces good photos but the initial inks only printed 900 photos because the tubes filled with air and I had to do two ink flushes which used up all the ink. In the first 600 photos there was no problem, I also changed the cassette twice

I got it for photo printing. It is very reliable and good for this job. The only bad thing is that it doesn't take very heavy paper, over 275g - be careful with that but it's the only negative.

No comparison with the HP Officejet I had before, which only caused me problems and disappointment.

it leaves the printout on many pages in the middle. it freezes and sometimes cancels the print.

I often wait a long time for it to print.
if you give it many pages at once, it outputs them all half. very bad purchase

Excellent printer with wifi and basically you don't even think about printing due to almost zero cost. More "expensive" is the paper than the ink.

Much better than I imagined.
I use it with Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II A4 and the prints are like professional ones. If you use such paper, don't forget to select it in the Printing settings that appear on the computer when you press Print. When I forget to select it there, the result is completely different for the worse.

Economical printer with fairly good print quality. The only downside I found is that when using air print from a MacBook, it can be hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it gets stuck. And many times, when you try to print, it starts making noises and attempts to print that can take up to 5 minutes before it actually starts printing!!! And it gives you an error message!

Update: I installed a router to improve the printer's signal... and it seems to have fixed the printing issue with airplay

The most affordable ink tank photo printer with much better quality than any of the 4-ink ones. The extra red and gray inks make a difference in accurate color tones. At 159 euros, it is so affordable that it can also double as a household printer for various documents, instead of someone getting the absolute cheapest ink tank from the company for just 20 euros less.

Quite good! After several prints, I noticed that the inks are difficult to come off... keep in mind to use good photo paper (depending on what you always want).. I have tried the very simple ones and it's not worth it, so you won't wonder if the machine prints well or not. I used good expensive photo paper and the difference was huge!
I would like a little faster printing but for this money, it's fine!

It does everything it says in the specifications, it is very economical on ink. I got it for photocopies but the photo prints are also very good

Excellent photo printer. Canon is known for its photo quality in its printers. The difference is that this one uses 6 Dye ink cartridges. The result is that its prints are much superior to printers that use 4. Larger color palette, greater clarity, no banding, correct contrast, and much better black and white printing. There is no printer in its category that comes close to the photo quality that is at a professional level. Excellent results with FineArt papers and with the entire Canon range. Printing speed is satisfactory for photos. Acceptable for home use in document printing. The cost of the ink is so low that you don't care how much you print. Highly recommended for hobbyists and photography enthusiasts.

With Canon's photo papers, it produced very impressive results. I haven't made any adjustments. It came out of the box as is. I imagine with ICC profiles and more detailed settings, it will print even better. I will come back in the future since I haven't had it for long

Extremely high quality printer. Despite comments that it does not print quickly, for me it is satisfactorily fast. Prints of very good quality. Excellent for me.

I use it as a second printer in an accounting office, instead of the photocopier that handles the main volume. It does not have a scanner (its sibling, the g640, does), nor does it have double-sided printing, which is why it is priced low. However, it produces fantastic prints with great resolution. Especially with photo paper, it works wonders! I recommend it to those who know why they are getting it, for home or casual use (not for rush jobs), who do not want to spend a lot on consumables but want quality prints.

Finally, an inkjet printer that prints quality photos at a low cost! At 12 euros for 60ml, there is no reason to buy generic inks that do not reproduce colors well and have questionable longevity. Also, its inks behave colorimetrically correctly even on papers from other manufacturers. Another positive is that the paper is fed from the back and not from the front, so it goes straight to the print heads without needing to be turned by a drum, which causes micro-scratches. Printing is of course slow, but here we care about quality and not speed; it's not intended as a one-hour minilab but for printing your own photos at home. It also prints excellent black and white photos with neutral grays!

--After a year, the nozzles of one head clogged even though I print at least every one or two weeks. Now I am in a dilemma about what to get as a replacement. I have lost my trust.

Very nice photos. Prints very well, just plain documents, the negative is that double-sided printing is done manually. For a new machine, double-sided printing should be done automatically. I bought it mainly for photos. Very good value for money
