My acquaintance with this book dates back about thirty years, and my dedication to it remains steadfast, although some who were committed to this book may disagree since I included comprehensive revisions in the fourth edition.

Now, it is clear that the book is indeed different from what it once was, but its essential approach and core content remain as they were in 1941.
