As mentioned in the preface of the first volume, the main objective of the book Signals and Systems is to present the fundamental concepts related to the respective thematic field. Taking into account that this book is primarily addressed to students of higher education, particular care has been taken for the analytical presentation of the subject in a clear and understandable manner, so that through its study, they acquire the basic knowledge and skills required for their specialization in more advanced issues, such as telecommunications and automatic control systems.
The second volume of the manuscript deals with signals and systems in the field of discrete time and serves as a logical continuation of the first volume, which describes the same concepts as they are defined in the continuous time field. The detailed presentation of the theory is accompanied by hundreds of model solved and unsolved exercises, so that the reader can immerse themselves directly and easily in the material presented, as well as in the way it is used in practice.
