GRILLS, CHASSIS AND BRACKETS
The speakers feature covers made from very durable polymer that minimizes distortions and vibrations. Many models use sealed enclosures for excellent water resistance, while selected models have front bass reflex enclosures to enhance bass performance. The materials are made of brass and are rust-resistant, with a metal grille (on selected models) that makes the TOS series completely weather and rustproof. The mounting brackets are very easy to install and allow for vertical and horizontal placement of the speakers. All the grilles and enclosures of TAGA Harmony speakers are painted.
TWEETERS
Depending on the model, 1” (25mm), 0.75” (19mm), or 0.5″ (13mm) cooled and damped tweeters with ferrofluid, silk, PEI, or high-quality titanium (TPTTD Taga Pure Titanium Tweeter Dome) domes are used. The SM models employ dual 1” PEI domes for wider sound dispersion. The performance of the tweeters is characterized as very accurate, clear, smooth, and detailed, while they can handle high power. Special attention is given to symmetry and flat sound dispersion.
WOOFER
The woofer uses a polypropylene cone (or reinforced paper in selected models) and a voice coil suitable for high power, responsible for deep and detailed bass and rich midrange performances.
FULL-RANGE DRIVER
In selected models, full-range drivers with polypropylene cones are used, providing excellent balance across all frequencies with delicate and precise highs, rich mids, and well-defined bass.
CROSSOVER (SELECTED MODELS)
Very high-quality materials and internal wiring with precise tolerance for absolute sound neutrality, high long-term power, and reliability.
SPEAKER CONNECTION TERMINALS
All speakers use high-quality, gold-plated banana-type connection terminals that accommodate speaker wires up to 10AWG.
