The Electro-Voice EVID 6.2 are high-performance, passive, two-way wall-mounted professional speakers (Commercial/Architectural Speakers), designed for sound installations in indoor and covered outdoor spaces such as restaurants, bars, retail stores, event venues, and theme parks. They feature dual 6-inch (152 mm) low- and mid-frequency transducers with treated-paper cones and magnetic shielding, as well as a 1-inch (25 mm) titanium-diaphragm tweeter with a neodymium magnet, mounted in a Coaxially Symmetric Constant-Directivity horn. The durable ABS polymer enclosure features a Bass-Reflex design, weather-resistance certification (Mil-Std / IP34), and the patented Strong-Arm Mount (SAM) system for easy installation and adjustment.

Dual 6-Inch Drivers & High-Power Architecture

The Electro-Voice EVID 6.2 features two 6-inch (152 mm) low- and mid-frequency drivers. This dual-driver configuration increases the radiating surface area, enabling the speaker to achieve high sound pressure levels (up to 122 dB Peak) with low distortion and extended bass response down to 62 Hz. The drivers also feature magnetic shielding, allowing the speaker to be installed near equipment sensitive to magnetic interference.

Titanium Tweeter & Wide-Dispersion Horn

To reproduce high frequencies up to 20 kHz, the speaker is equipped with a 1-inch (25 mm) titanium-diaphragm tweeter featuring a powerful neodymium magnet. The tweeter is mounted in a Coaxially Symmetric Horn, which provides controlled, even dispersion of 100° horizontal x 80° vertical, covering large areas with clear, balanced sound.

Strong-Arm Mounting System & Weather Resistance

The elliptical enclosure of the EVID 6.2 is made of durable, high-rigidity ABS polymer and features IP34 protection, as well as military-standard (MIL-STD-810) protection against moisture, salt water, and UV radiation. It is easy to install thanks to the patented Strong-Arm Mount (SAM) system, which allows precise adjustment of the speaker’s tilt and rotation, while the wiring runs through the mount for a clean appearance.
