* My first impression: this thing spews a powerful flame, and I'm very pleasantly impressed. It's lightweight and built from thin metal sheets but it's sturdy and stable. It comes with an ignition mechanism that's not mentioned in the product description at the time of this review.
* What I didn't like:
1- It has 4 plastic feet that can be a bit finnicky to install. They're not adjustable unfortunately. My countertop is crooked and I had to put some cardboard under the feet to elevate and level the burner a bit.
2- When you twist the knob between the max and the min positions "between 9 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions", the gas pressure fluctuates and flame becomes unstable. If you want to control it, you must keep the knob between 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock "off" positions.
3- The ignition and the on position is strictly at around 9 o'clock, means that once you turn it on, it'll immediately spew a high and powerful flame. Keep that in mind when you need to put on a small briki or pot. The sudden intense flame can damage it and can definitely burn you if your hand is in the way.
4- It won't ignite until the built-in ignition engages "9 o'clock position". This means that you can't twist the knob slightly "11 o'clock position" and ignite it with a lighter, maintaining a safe low flame. As a result, the initial ignition will always produce a high intense flame. So be careful!
* Would I recommend it? At the time of this review, I definitely would and I still think it deserves 5 stars. This thing is powerful indeed. The video I share here shows how strong the flame gets with the valve at the gas cylinder set to the lowest pressure. Despite all the things I didn't like, I still think it's a very decent product for the price.
