Mercola Contact C113 contact adhesive is based on synthetic rubber, synthetic resins and solvents. It bonds various materials to one another or to wooden, metal and concrete surfaces. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it is resistant to moisture, oils, acids and ageing. Ideal for applications in shoemaking, construction, carpentry, home repairs and hobbies.
Before application, surfaces must be clean and dry, fit together well and have no gaps. Apply the adhesive evenly to both surfaces using a notched trowel, brush or directly from the tube. On porous surfaces, apply two coats, allowing the first to dry before applying the second. Leave to dry for 20–30 minutes before joining the parts and applying even pressure. The bond reaches full strength after 24 hours at 20 °C.
