They help moisturize and heal damaged or atrophic vaginal mucosa, prevent vaginal dryness, and maintain vaginal pH. They are also used to relieve irritation, itching, and redness, and as adjunctive treatment for vulvovaginal conditions involving dryness, inflammation, or vaginal discharge.

Hyaluronic acid combines with vaginal secretions to form a moisturizing gel barrier that supports the body’s natural regenerative processes. Lactic acid lowers the pH of the vaginal environment and helps maintain the natural balance of the vaginal microflora. The suppositories can be used as adjunctive treatment to restore the mucosa after childbirth or gynecological and surgical procedures, as well as for dystrophy resulting from chemotherapy or radiation therapy. The usual use is one suppository every evening before bedtime; the dosage and duration of treatment should be determined by a doctor. For healing after childbirth or surgery, the usual regimen is one suppository daily for 10 days. To prevent vaginal dryness, the initial regimen is one suppository daily for 20 days, followed by maintenance use of one suppository daily for 3 days every 10 days.
