    I bought these a while ago and I have noticed that they all make noise when they are turned on. Some buzz at high frequencies, others "creak" at lower ones, so they sound less compared. You have to be > 15 dB in the room to notice the sound they produce. If you are sensitive to such electronic sounds and have them very close to you in a very quiet room, I suggest looking for something different.

    As for lighting, they have no issues at all, natural white, gentle on the eyes, no flickering.
