The editions and the editing of the book are commendable. However, the author's positions on the relationships and the status quo of Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots on the island and the appropriate solutions and policies reflect views that do not honor either the history or the martyr struggles and sacrifices of the Greek Cypriots from the massacres by the Turks and the anti-Hellenic policies of the British.
Since the Turkish invasion of 1974 is clearly illegal and constitutes a blatant violation of international law, any discussions about the legislative, administrative, or economic - commercial status quo between the two communities are, in my opinion, unfounded. I do not recommend it.
