Creation entails Evolution, but Evolution also presupposes Creation for anyone who accepts the Christian tradition.

The biologist may not be bound by Christian faith in the doctrine of Creation. However, the theologian cannot dismiss Evolution, which does not exclude Creation.

The validity of the biological theory of Evolution is judged only by scientific criteria. Any involvement of theological or philosophical criteria is an impermissible epistemological intrusion into foreign territory.
