Well, it is quite large and it weighs down the PC quite a bit if you don't have a 4060 or 4090 card. It's better to get one with 1920×1080p pixels, as those are more suitable for gaming. As for the quality, it is worth the money. The only complaint is that it doesn't have a built-in speaker, which I believe is a major flaw.

I give it 3 stars because it is worth it for 4K and the price, but I would expect more from Samsung. Secondly, because I knew that Samsung sometimes has plastic problems or they come off, I also experienced it with the Samsung logo on the right side, it was a little detached, some glue has come off, but because it wasn't a huge problem, I didn't bother sending it back. For now, I am very happy with this screen, only the button below the screen functions as an arrow, left, right, up, down, and such a button. I would expect Samsung to provide more settings for the screen, but honestly, for the money, I can say it's decent. I recommend it without hesitation, even for gaming consoles

Having the screen for 1.5 years now, I have to say the following:
Positives: very nice picture, true 4K with accurate color reproduction. Quite bright, and with very thin bezels. I use it for everyday office work but also light gaming, and it works perfectly. The blue light protection feature has been a lifesaver for me.
Negatives: Slightly higher contrast that tends to be a bit exaggerated. It doesn't immediately recognize the connection from the ports. The menu could be much better, and finally, the light from the menu button always blinks! This may not be a problem for most people, but if you have it in your bedroom like me and want darkness, the blinking light can be a bit annoying because it never turns off!
Overall, though, I believe it's a good choice for the money!

Office use (Excel, Outlook) and a little graphic design (Corel). The screen is simply perfect, there is no going back to FHD or QHD screens. The menu is terrible, but who cares?

For its price, it is excellent in all categories. The image is clear and refreshing. Even at 60hz, it is bright and has vibrant colors, highly recommended for office work.

Congratulations to Samsung for this specific IPS Panel.

Very good screen for its price. I use it with MacBook Pro M1 for Android Studio, Xcode, PyCharm, etc.
Apart from the two minor negatives I will mention below, everything else is positive.
    - When I open the laptop, many times it doesn't automatically turn on. I haven't figured out how the lever/button it has works. I have to press it until the lights go off and then open it again. *Update* It fixed itself.
    - When I'm in an IDE, many times scrolling is not very smooth, but it's understandable given its specs.
Personally, with this price, its negatives don't bother me, I recommend it.

I got this monitor because I had to replace an lg 27ul500-w, which had a lot of background glow. It has good image quality, the 4k is perfect, and the colors are great. It just needed to have less light from the backlight, maybe 20-30% lower, and it would be perfect for 4k Netflix, Disney, or anything else. It needs HDMI to load 4k movies, otherwise everything is good. The menu is fine, I don't know why others complain. It's a monitor, my friend. If you want buttons, wear a shirt with many buttons or get a TV monitor with a remote control. I believe there must be a 3.5mm or USB port for headphones somewhere, I didn't check, but I saw in the menu that it has volume control. With DisplayPort, movies only load in HD, but if you have a 4k movie on your computer, you can watch it in 4k, not HD. And the magic bright function works.

First day of operation. The screen is generally good. Excellent price for a 28-inch 4k. However, I found some negatives:
    - Its stand is taller than I would like (the opposite problem was easier to fix with the old one, I would just put something underneath).
    - When you lower the brightness below 30% (because otherwise it is too bright for long hours of work), it makes an annoying sound (like electrical noise) at a frequency that the ear perceives and is very bothersome. One solution I found for this, deducting 2 stars, is to keep the brightness at 40-50% where I don't hear anything and reduce the colors (red, green, and blue) to 15%. This results in a similar outcome to having the colors at 50 and brightness at 20-30, but it's not the same.

Very good screen, with nice colors and good sharpness. I mainly use it for 4K videos, I don't play games. To display 4K correctly, a display port cable is needed. With the HDMI cable that comes with it, I had image freezes, pixelation, and various other strange things. With the display port cable, no problem. Recommended!!

Large size, very good image, nice design! Every time the computer is turned on, the screen button needs to be pressed to turn it on.
I still haven't figured out how to change its tilt... The instructions show that the arm rotates, but in reality, it is fixed, it doesn't have an arm...

The cheapest 4K monitor that is currently available. The viewing angles are not the best, but other than that, the colors are great and the sharpness is nice. It has a response time of 4ms, but no issues with gaming.

I mainly use it for movies, games (not competitive), and photo editing, and it performs excellently in both.

I had to upgrade to a good graphics card to handle this amazing monitor, but it's a worthwhile investment if you're into 4K movies, gaming, and editing.

    Update: 10/3/2023

The button on the monitor has been broken for months, so I have to press it 100 times to open or close the screen. Additionally, the button also functions as a joystick, but when I move the joystick in any direction, it doesn't work correctly (e.g., I press up and it goes right, or I press down and it goes in any wrong direction).

We have and we say. I am professionally involved in Photo Editing, I create websites and I have an e-shop. (For about 15 years now.) Restful, crystal clear image.

The best option FOR OFFICE and general use (and not only) at 250-260€. Why? IPS screen, 4K resolution, 28 inches, 16:10 Aspect Ratio, 157ppi, 99.5% srgb. (I could go into detail about all these but I would have to write a whole report and I'm too lazy.)

For something similar, you will pay 300-400€
For something better (if we go for these features with 120hz, you will pay 600€)
    I am amazed. That's it.

Bonus Tip: buy a bracket (support base) Brateck LDT13-C012, hide the cables inside it, attach the screen in the air in front of you, wherever you want. It frees up space on the desk because the bases on large screens are huge. And you become Bruce Wayne.

Well, for those who are looking for the difference compared to the equivalent at 300, there is no difference except for the energy consumption. In other words, a 28-inch 4K IPS screen at 60 Hz for 250 from Samsung, which is simply worth it. Especially if you are involved in content creation. As for gaming, I don't know, if you don't play competitively, you probably won't ever see the difference between 60 and 140 Hz and such

If you are looking for 4K at 60Hz at a price that doesn't exist... blindly. Beautiful images on Xbox One X. IPS panel that for me has a big difference in colors at 40, which are truly wonderful. Several settings that will suit the image as your eyes want. Besides games, it works flawlessly with the media player capabilities of the XBOX One with HDR as rendered by the console. It had some disconnects from the Xbox when it went from HDR to SD, but it was solved with freesync off.

The screen is worth it and more. I bought it to upgrade from 1080p and combine it with a PS5, and I am completely satisfied. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap 4K.

Very valuable for their money. I have not identified any negative aspects.
I do not use the stands, I have arms.
I bought them mainly because I wanted to upgrade from TN panels to IPS.

  • Well, it is quite large and it weighs down the PC quite a bit if you don't have a 4060 or 4090 card. It's better to get one with 1920×1080p pixels, as those are more suitable for gaming. As for the quality, it is worth the money. The only complaint is that it doesn't have a built-in speaker, which I believe is a major flaw.

  • I give it 3 stars because it is worth it for 4K and the price, but I would expect more from Samsung.
