    I bought it as a charging base for my nightstand. My phone doesn't have wireless charging, so I put it on the stand that also charges perfectly with USB-C. My watch, which has wireless charging, charges at the spot designated for the phone's wireless charging, but also on the stand that has the watch charger, so I can charge my own watch on the stand and my wife's in the phone's spot. The watches charge perfectly fine, but they also have small batteries. If I were to put a phone on the wireless charging, I suppose it would take a long time to charge, but it would probably fully charge if left overnight (my phone's battery is at 50% every night when I put it for charging). For my own use, it's perfect.
