The most powerful and with the best torque in its category (very important). If I were to buy the same thing again, I would definitely get it. As for some reviews I read about damages due to heavy weight, I have to say that when you hold a 53cc two-stroke engine that operates at 10,000 RPM, what do you expect it to be? Light, quiet, and effortless? These things don't happen. I highly recommend it.

το μηχανάκι (kawasaki) το έχω αγοράσει με καλάμι blue bird (ιταλικό) που δείχνει αρκετά ποιοτικό και εργονομικό. Το αγόρασα στα 365 ευρώ και νομίζω είναι ότι καλύτερο για τα λευτα του. Το μηχανάκι δείχνει να δουλεύει σαν σκυλί, δεν καίει πολύ, για την ακρίβεια με 1,1 λίτρο βενζίνης που χωρά το ρεζερβουάρ βγάζει περίπου 1 ώρα και 15 λεπτά ασταμάτητη λειτουργία. Παίρνει σχετικά εύκολα μπρος και νομίζω είναι ισάξιο σαν μηχανή, αν όχι καλύτερο, απ τα αντίστοιχων χαραχτηριστικων χορτοκοπτικά της husqvarna και stihl που στοιχίζουν κάπου 500 ευρώ. Δεν το χρησιμοποιώ συχνά, αλλά όποτε χρειαστεί, το δουλεύω για ώρες ασταμάτητα...

Με πολύ δυσκολία σπέρνει μπροστά και 30 Μαρτίου 2018 το πήγα για σέρβις λόγω που ήρθε ο καιρός για δουλειά. Ο τεχνίτης έμπειρος στη δουλειά του λέει ότι υπάρχει πρόβλημα στο καρμπυρατέρ παρότι το καθάρισε δύο φορές χωρίς να αποκλείει και πρόβλημα στην ηλεκτρονική του.Τελικα το πήρα και το βάζω μπροστά με τέρμα το γκάζι γιατί δεν κρατάει καθόλου ρελαντί. Συμπέρασμα αν είναι να αλλάξω ηλεκτρονική στα 99 ευρώ και καρμπυρατέρ περίπου στα 200 ευρώ μαζί με την εργασία καλύτερα να πάρω καινούργιο καί άλλη μάρκα.
Following the opinions of the community and a friend of mine who has had a Kawasaki Th 48 for many years (the old one that had 3.3 HP at 48 cc), with a Japanese Marunaka handle, I decided to purchase one with a Japanese Ergomac handle because these machines must have reliable handles (not Chinese ones). I worked with it for a total of 10 hours using a 4.4 trimmer line. It is a very powerful machine that cuts thin grass at idle and thick weeds at full power, etc. It does have its vibrations, it is not too heavy, and the good vest that comes with the package helps distribute the weight on the shoulders. During assembly, it is good to align the machine from where it hangs with slight tension towards the front, and the hands on the handles should be straight. Every 10 hours, as I was told and also confirmed with my hearing, you need to apply graphite to the angle drive. At idle, I heard a squeaking noise that surprised me, but I asked and was told that it is a normal noise coming from the bell.
Now, the negatives... sometimes it is difficult to start. The black cover on the sides of the engine is fake, resulting in it breaking when the cord with the plastic handle slipped out of my hand. Two years later, after 70 hours of amateur work, my conclusion is that the machine is reliable and very powerful as long as you occasionally check and clean the air filter, use good quality graphite on the handle, mix good oil with the gasoline, and do not leave the mixture in the tank for more than a month, and drain it by revving the engine from the carburetor. I haven't asked how often to change the spark plug.
EDIT:
After 5 years of cleaning it 7 times a year on 3 acres, the piston got stuck despite my careful handling. The cost of an original cylinder-piston is 200€ AND forget about it. I simply replaced the piston and springs for 90€ and it will last as long as it can. The mechanic said that the engine is not made in Japan. The handle is Japan OK. The next one will be a Husqvarna 553. It might be defective again in my case.

Το δούλεψα συνολικά 10 ώρες με μεσινεζα 4,4. Πολύ δυνατό μηχάνημα κόβει στο ρελαντί λεπτά χόρτα και στο full power μολόχες κλπ. Έχει βεβαίως τους κραδασμούς του δεν είναι πολύ βαρύ, στο μοίρασμα του βάρους στους ώμους βοηθά το καλό γιλέκο που έχει η συσκευασία, και στη συναρμολόγηση καλό είναι να κεντράρετε το μηχάνημα από εκεί που κρέμεται με ελαφρά τάση προς τα εμπρός, και τα χέρια στα χειριστήρια να είναι ευθεία. Κάθε 10 ώρες μου είπαν και το διαπίστωσα και εγώ με την ακοή, χρειάζεται να βάλεις γραφίτη στη γωνιακή μετάδοση. Στο ρελαντί άκουγα ένα γκλιν γκλιν που με ξένισε , ρώτησα και μου είπαν ότι είναι φυσιολογικός θόρυβος από την καμπάνα.
Τώρα τα αρνητικά........ μερικές φορές παίρνει με δυσκολία μπροστά.... το μαύρο καπάκι στα πλάγια του κινητήρα είναι ψεύτικο με αποτέλεσμα να σπάσει όταν μου έφυγε από το χέρι το κορδόνι με το πλάστικό χερούλι.
Δυο χρόνια μετά η διαπίστωση μου μετά από 70 ωρες εργασίας ερασιτεχνικά είναι ότι το μηχάνημα είναι αξιόπιστο και πολύ δυνατό αρκεί που και που ελέγχετε να πλενετε και να στεγνώνετε καλά το φιλτρο αέρα, να βάζετε καλή ποιότητα γραφίτη στο μπαστούνι, καλό λάδι μίξης στη βενζίνη, και να μην αφήνετε μίγμα πάνω απο μήνα στο ρεζερβουάρ, και να το αποστραγκίζετε μαρσάροντας απο το καρμπυρατερ. Μπουζί δεν έχω ρωτήσει κάθε πότε αλλάζεις.

ΜΕΤΆ 5 χρόνια καθάρισμα 7 φορές το χρόνο σε 3 στρέμματα κολλησε το πιστόνι παρόλο τον προσεκτικό χειρισμό μου. Κόστος original κύλινδροπιστόνου 200€ ΚΑΙ ξέχνα το. Απλά άλλαξα πιστόνι ελατήρια με 90€ και όσο κρατήσει. Ο μάστορας είπε ότι δεν είναι made in Japan oκινητηρας. ΤΟ μπαστούνι Japan OK. ΤΟ ΕΠΌΜΕΝΟ θα είναι Husqvarna 553. ΠΆΛΙ μπορεί να βγήκε σε μένα ελαττωματικό.
It is wrongly referred to as Kawasaki tj53, this is the engine and it is a beast. Who is the manufacturer of this specific one, Kawasaki? No, there are many manufacturers who choose this engine, that's why you will see shops saying it's from Japan, Italy, etc.

5½ χρόνια μετά, μόνο το δοχείο καυσίμου έχει κιτρινίσει. Για να το βάλεις εύκολα μπροστά κάνεις πλήρωση του κυκλώματος με τη φούσκα. Μετά τραβάς με τραβηγμένο τσοκ και ανοιχτό διακόπτη μέχρι να κάνει μπραφ. Γυρνάς τσοκ και περιμένεις λίγο να ζεσταθεί

Very good grass trimmer, but with some flaws. The head is not good, I changed it and it cuts perfectly in a 4-acre plot. Πολυ καλο χορτοκοπτικο,αλλα με καποια ελλατωματα η κεφαλη δεν ειναι καλη την αλλαξα και κουρευε μια χαρα σε οικοπεδο 4 στρεματων επισης η ζωνη του σχιστηκε και δεν ειναι καλη και τωρα μου χαλασε και η χειρομιζα (εκκινητης) εσπασε το πλαστικο εσωτερικα που κραταει την τροχαλια με το σχοινι,εαν και με αυτα τα προβληματα σε ενα χορτοκοπτικο μετραει ο κινητηρας και το μπαστουνι δυο σημαντικα και καλα πραγματα που εχει αυτο το χορτοκοπτικο!!!

Good powerful machine, I have it for 2 years and I clean a field of 2-3 acres a few times a year. καλο δυνατο μηχανημα, το εχω 2 χρονια και καθαριζω ενα χωραφι 2-3 στρ. μερικες φορες το χρονο. Δυσκολευεται λιγο στην εκκινηση κρυο, αλλα με λιγο οινοπνευμα στην εισαγωγη αρπαζει αμεσως. Φαινεται καλη κατασκευη, αντεχει στην πολυωρη χρηση, κανω διαλειμμα οταν μενει απο βενζινη. Επενδυστε σε καλο ιμαντα ωμων αναρτησης του μηχανηματος για να μην κουραζεστε στη πολυωρη χρηση. Τεχνολογικα προηγμενο, χαμηλη εκπομπη καυσαεριων χωρις καταλυτη. κανει θορυβο ως διχρονο, αλλα υποφερτο (δεν με κουραζει). Πιστευω θα με βοηθαει για πολλα χρονια, αρκει να γινεται η στοιχειωδη συντηρηση σωστα και οταν πρεπει.

After 5 years of intensive use, it is the best I have worked with. I am talking about the TJ53E with the ama (Italian) rod. The most powerful and with the best torque in its category (very important). If I were to buy the same thing again, I would definitely get it. As for some reviews I read about damages due to heavy weight, I have to say that when you hold a 53cc two-stroke engine that operates at 10,000 RPM, what do you expect it to be? Light, quiet, and effortless? These things don't happen. I highly recommend it.

I have purchased the (Kawasaki) machine with the Blue Bird (Italian) fishing rod, which appears to be quite high-quality and ergonomic. το μηχανάκι (kawasaki) το έχω αγοράσει με καλάμι blue bird (ιταλικό) που δείχνει αρκετά ποιοτικό και εργονομικό. Το αγόρασα στα 365 ευρώ και νομίζω είναι ότι καλύτερο για τα λευτα του. Το μηχανάκι δείχνει να δουλεύει σαν σκυλί, δεν καίει πολύ, για την ακρίβεια με 1,1 λίτρο βενζίνης που χωρά το ρεζερβουάρ βγάζει περίπου 1 ώρα και 15 λεπτά ασταμάτητη λειτουργία. Παίρνει σχετικά εύκολα μπρος και νομίζω είναι ισάξιο σαν μηχανή, αν όχι καλύτερο, απ τα αντίστοιχων χαραχτηριστικων χορτοκοπτικά της husqvarna και stihl που στοιχίζουν κάπου 500 ευρώ. Δεν το χρησιμοποιώ συχνά, αλλά όποτε χρειαστεί, το δουλεύω για ώρες ασταμάτητα...

Κόβω 2 χρόνια σε ακτινίδια με 3.3 μεσινέζα, με μιάμιση ώρα το ντεπόζιτο , πολύ εντατικό δούλεμα και ασταμάτητα ακόμη και όλη μέρα. το μπαστούνι αν και κινέζικο χωρίς πρόβλημα αλλά γρασάρω συχνά τη γωνιακή. Είναι λίγο βαρύ 10 κιλά μαζί με το καύσιμο αλλά μπροστά στη δύναμη χαλάλι του.

Με πολύ δυσκολία σπέρνει μπροστά και 30 Μαρτίου 2018 το πήγα για σέρβις λόγω που ήρθε ο καιρός για δουλειά. Ο τεχνίτης έμπειρος στη δουλειά του λέει ότι υπάρχει πρόβλημα στο καρμπυρατέρ παρότι το καθάρισε δύο φορές χωρίς να αποκλείει και πρόβλημα στην ηλεκτρονική του.Τελικα το πήρα και το βάζω μπροστά με τέρμα το γκάζι γιατί δεν κρατάει καθόλου ρελαντί. Συμπέρασμα αν είναι να αλλάξω ηλεκτρονική στα 99 ευρώ και καρμπυρατέρ περίπου στα 200 ευρώ μαζί με την εργασία καλύτερα να πάρω καινούργιο καί άλλη μάρκα.
Following the opinions of the community and a friend of mine who has had a Kawasaki Th 48 for many years (the old one that had 3.3 HP at 48 cc), with a Japanese Marunaka handle, I decided to purchase one with a Japanese Ergomac handle because these machines must have reliable handles (not Chinese ones). I worked with it for a total of 10 hours using a 4.4 trimmer line. It is a very powerful machine that cuts thin grass at idle and thick weeds at full power, etc. It does have its vibrations, it is not too heavy, and the good vest that comes with the package helps distribute the weight on the shoulders. During assembly, it is good to align the machine from where it hangs with slight tension towards the front, and the hands on the handles should be straight. Every 10 hours, as I was told and also confirmed with my hearing, you need to apply graphite to the angle drive. At idle, I heard a squeaking noise that surprised me, but I asked and was told that it is a normal noise coming from the bell.
Now, the negatives... sometimes it is difficult to start. The black cover on the sides of the engine is fake, resulting in it breaking when the cord with the plastic handle slipped out of my hand. Two years later, after 70 hours of amateur work, my conclusion is that the machine is reliable and very powerful as long as you occasionally check and clean the air filter, use good quality graphite on the handle, mix good oil with the gasoline, and do not leave the mixture in the tank for more than a month, and drain it by revving the engine from the carburetor. I haven't asked how often to change the spark plug.
EDIT:
After 5 years of cleaning it 7 times a year on 3 acres, the piston got stuck despite my careful handling. The cost of an original cylinder-piston is 200€ AND forget about it. I simply replaced the piston and springs for 90€ and it will last as long as it can. The mechanic said that the engine is not made in Japan. The handle is Japan OK. The next one will be a Husqvarna 553. It might be defective again in my case.
Κατόπιν γνωμών της κοινότητας και ενός φίλου μου αγρότη που ΄έχει kawasaki Th 48 πολλά χρόνια (το παλιό που έβγαζε 3,3 HP στα 48 cc), με ιαπωνικό μπαστούνι marunaka, αποφάσισα την αγορά του με ιαπωνικό μπαστούνι ergomac λόγω του ότι τα μηχανήματα αυτά πρέπει να έχουν αξιόπιστα μπαστούνια (όχι κινέζικα), . Το δούλεψα συνολικά 10 ώρες με μεσινεζα 4,4. Πολύ δυνατό μηχάνημα κόβει στο ρελαντί λεπτά χόρτα και στο full power μολόχες κλπ. Έχει βεβαίως τους κραδασμούς του δεν είναι πολύ βαρύ, στο μοίρασμα του βάρους στους ώμους βοηθά το καλό γιλέκο που έχει η συσκευασία, και στη συναρμολόγηση καλό είναι να κεντράρετε το μηχάνημα από εκεί που κρέμεται με ελαφρά τάση προς τα εμπρός, και τα χέρια στα χειριστήρια να είναι ευθεία. Κάθε 10 ώρες μου είπαν και το διαπίστωσα και εγώ με την ακοή, χρειάζεται να βάλεις γραφίτη στη γωνιακή μετάδοση. Στο ρελαντί άκουγα ένα γκλιν γκλιν που με ξένισε , ρώτησα και μου είπαν ότι είναι φυσιολογικός θόρυβος από την καμπάνα.
Τώρα τα αρνητικά........ μερικές φορές παίρνει με δυσκολία μπροστά.... το μαύρο καπάκι στα πλάγια του κινητήρα είναι ψεύτικο με αποτέλεσμα να σπάσει όταν μου έφυγε από το χέρι το κορδόνι με το πλάστικό χερούλι.
Δυο χρόνια μετά η διαπίστωση μου μετά από 70 ωρες εργασίας ερασιτεχνικά είναι ότι το μηχάνημα είναι αξιόπιστο και πολύ δυνατό αρκεί που και που ελέγχετε να πλενετε και να στεγνώνετε καλά το φιλτρο αέρα, να βάζετε καλή ποιότητα γραφίτη στο μπαστούνι, καλό λάδι μίξης στη βενζίνη, και να μην αφήνετε μίγμα πάνω απο μήνα στο ρεζερβουάρ, και να το αποστραγκίζετε μαρσάροντας απο το καρμπυρατερ. Μπουζί δεν έχω ρωτήσει κάθε πότε αλλάζεις.

ΜΕΤΆ 5 χρόνια καθάρισμα 7 φορές το χρόνο σε 3 στρέμματα κολλησε το πιστόνι παρόλο τον προσεκτικό χειρισμό μου. Κόστος original κύλινδροπιστόνου 200€ ΚΑΙ ξέχνα το. Απλά άλλαξα πιστόνι ελατήρια με 90€ και όσο κρατήσει. Ο μάστορας είπε ότι δεν είναι made in Japan oκινητηρας. ΤΟ μπαστούνι Japan OK. ΤΟ ΕΠΌΜΕΝΟ θα είναι Husqvarna 553. ΠΆΛΙ μπορεί να βγήκε σε μένα ελαττωματικό.
It is wrongly referred to as Kawasaki tj53, this is the engine and it is a beast. Who is the manufacturer of this specific one, Kawasaki? No, there are many manufacturers who choose this engine, that's why you will see shops saying it's from Japan, Italy, etc.
Personally, although the engine is excellent, very powerful and reliable, it broke the blade twice for me (I have had it for two and a half years). What was my mistake? Not buying a machine where the engine and the blade are from the same manufacturer, for example Husqvarna, Stihl, Echo, etc.
I would not buy it again, unless Kawasaki decides to release their own grass trimmers.

Εμένα προσωπικά ενώ ο κινητήρας είναι άριστος πολύ δυνατός και αξιόπιστος, μου έκοψε την καμπάνα δύο φορές (το έχω δυόμιση χρόνια). Το λάθος μου ποίο ήταν; Ότι δεν πήρα ένα μηχάνημα όπου ο κινητήρας και το κοντάρι να είναι του ίδιου κατασκευαστή πχ husqvarna, stihl, echo κλπ.
Δεν θα το ξαναγόραζα, εκτός κι αν η kawasaki αποφάσιζε να βγάλει δικά της χορτοκοπτικά.

5½ years later, only the fuel tank has yellowed. To easily put it in front, you fill the circuit with the primer bulb. Then you pull with the choke pulled and the switch open until it starts. You turn the choke and wait a little for it to warm up

Με ένα γέμισμα βγάζει 1½ ώρα ασταμάτητης χορτοκοπής. 25% οικονομικότερο από το προηγούμενο που έχω αντίστοιχης ιπποδύναμης και κυβισμού. Διαθέτη μηχανικό ventilater και κρατά τη θερμοκρασία του κινητήρα χαμηλά ενώ ταυτόχρονα απομακρύνει τα καυσαέρια από το χειριστή. Διαθέτει φούσκα για την πλήρωση του κυκλώματος μέχρι το καρμπιρατέρ, κάτι που βοηθάει στην εκκίνηση. Διαθέτει επιστροφή καυσίμου. Διάφανο δοχείο για εύκολο έλεγχο της στάθμης.

Θόρυβος 114 db. H στάθμη θορύβου είναι πολύ ψηλά και οι ωτοασπίδες είναι σε κάθε περίπτωση απαραίτητες
Για τα 300€ που έχει είναι άριστη αγορά. Η χρήση που κάνω είναι απαιτητική (χόρτα 2μετρα θάμνοι βουνίσιοι πάχους μέχρι 7χιλ.) Καθαρίζω τακτικά 7 στρέμματα και αρκετές φορές και άλλες εκτάσεις.

5½ χρόνια μετά, μόνο το δοχείο καυσίμου έχει κιτρινίσει. Για να το βάλεις εύκολα μπροστά κάνεις πλήρωση του κυκλώματος με τη φούσκα. Μετά τραβάς με τραβηγμένο τσοκ και ανοιχτό διακόπτη μέχρι να κάνει μπραφ. Γυρνάς τσοκ και περιμένεις λίγο να ζεσταθεί

Mε χρήση περίπου 15 ωρών κατέστρεψε τον άξονα και την καμπάνα. Σε 10 ημέρες κλεινονται 2 χρόνια απο την αγορά του. Η εγγύηση ισχύει για 1 ετος απο την αντιπροσωπεία. Δυνατός κινητήρας αλλά το κοντάρι υποδεέστερο. Είναι της matrix. Κόστος ανταλακτικών 70 Ε εκτός τα έξοδα συνεργείου για τοποθέτηση.
Very good grass trimmer, but with some flaws. The head is not good, I changed it and it cuts perfectly in a 4-acre plot. Also, the belt broke and is not good, and now the starter handle (ignition) broke the plastic inside that holds the pulley with the rope. Despite these problems, the engine and the blade are two important and good things that this grass trimmer has!
Πολυ καλο χορτοκοπτικο,αλλα με καποια ελλατωματα η κεφαλη δεν ειναι καλη την αλλαξα και κουρευε μια χαρα σε οικοπεδο 4 στρεματων επισης η ζωνη του σχιστηκε και δεν ειναι καλη και τωρα μου χαλασε και η χειρομιζα (εκκινητης) εσπασε το πλαστικο εσωτερικα που κραταει την τροχαλια με το σχοινι,εαν και με αυτα τα προβληματα σε ενα χορτοκοπτικο μετραει ο κινητηρας και το μπαστουνι δυο σημαντικα και καλα πραγματα που εχει αυτο το χορτοκοπτικο!!!

Good powerful machine, I have it for 2 years and I clean a field of 2-3 acres a few times a year. It struggles a bit to start when it's cold, but with a little alcohol in the intake, it starts immediately. It seems well-built, withstands long hours of use, I take breaks when it runs out of gasoline. Invest in a good shoulder strap suspension for the machine so you don't get tired during long hours of use. Technologically advanced, low emission of exhaust gases without a catalytic converter. It makes noise as a two-stroke, but it's tolerable (it doesn't bother me). I believe it will help me for many years, as long as basic maintenance is done correctly and when needed.
καλο δυνατο μηχανημα, το εχω 2 χρονια και καθαριζω ενα χωραφι 2-3 στρ. μερικες φορες το χρονο. Δυσκολευεται λιγο στην εκκινηση κρυο, αλλα με λιγο οινοπνευμα στην εισαγωγη αρπαζει αμεσως. Φαινεται καλη κατασκευη, αντεχει στην πολυωρη χρηση, κανω διαλειμμα οταν μενει απο βενζινη. Επενδυστε σε καλο ιμαντα ωμων αναρτησης του μηχανηματος για να μην κουραζεστε στη πολυωρη χρηση. Τεχνολογικα προηγμενο, χαμηλη εκπομπη καυσαεριων χωρις καταλυτη. κανει θορυβο ως διχρονο, αλλα υποφερτο (δεν με κουραζει). Πιστευω θα με βοηθαει για πολλα χρονια, αρκει να γινεται η στοιχειωδη συντηρηση σωστα και οταν πρεπει.

το 120314 φοράει κινεζικό μπαστούνι και είναι όλο ζημιά. ο κινητήρας σκοτώνει το δούλεψα και έπαθα πλάκα. του άλλαξα το μπαστούνι με ένα της Kawasaki στα 150 ευρώ και ησύχασα. τώρα δεν κατάλαβενει τίποτα κυριολεκτικά
