The ACCU-ND technology in Hoya PROND filters delivers truly neutral color that will not add any noticeable tint to your images. The Hoya PROND series targets both the photographic and HDSLR markets. The series provides 9 filters, ranging from two stops to 10 stops of light reduction.

The ACCU-ND metal coating on the PROND filters does not allow for color shift. You can now set your white balance once and maintain the same color balance, even if you need to change filters due to lighting changes or for creative actions.

The PROND filters exclusively use Hoya optical glass with a metal ACCU-ND coating to create the neutral density effect. Neutral filters are designed to reduce the amount of light entering your camera lens and should not have any other impact on the image.

The reduction of light allows for the use of larger apertures or slower shutter speeds for creative and dramatic effects in bright lighting conditions. The PROND16 provides 4 stops of light reduction equivalent to 1.2 optical density ND.
