Quinta Ruban is a 14-year-old Single malt aged from the Highland region of Scotland. Glenmorangie is a particularly innovative and pioneering distillery that has been the first, since the 1960s, to use American oak barrels from Bourbon, resulting in its whiskies having a very interesting elegant and smooth character. What makes Quinta Ruban so special is the fact that it initially matured for 10 years in Bourbon barrels and then in specially selected Ruby Port from Quintas. Dark, intense amber in appearance. Both on the nose and on the palate, aromas and flavors of citrus, ginger, dates, sweet spices, and honey dominate, combined with evolved aromas of cocoa and chocolate.
