Ουσιαστικά , η Οθόνη ειναι μεγαλύτερη στο πλάτος αλλά πιο κοντή σε υψος απο τις συνηθισμένες οθόνες, πράγμα που βοηθάει παρα πολύ στο να έχεις 2 η και παραπάνω παράθυρα ανοιχτά το ένα διπλά στο άλλο, πράγμα που πολύ το ζητάνε σε μια οθόνη που προoρίζετε για εργάσια.
Είναι πολύ φαρδιά. Σε μια συνηθισμένη ο λόγος διαστάσεων (οριζόντια-κάθετα) είναι 16:9, στις ultra wide είναι 21:9
