    If you put the whole sandwich, then the toaster doesn't close unless you press it with a lot of force. If you manage to do it, the sandwich is so pressed that the cheese will melt and ooze out of the toaster from all four sides. Obviously, the sandwich must be pre-cut into triangles to fit in the slots, but that's not something that serves me (especially if someone puts sauce inside the sandwich, it's a hassle to cut it and you will definitely make a mess).
