The graphics are truly incredible. Especially if you start on the PS4 and upgrade to 5, you'll be amazed by the colors, character design, and graphics, as well as how smoothly and beautifully it runs at 60fps. The gameplay is quite good and addictive, as well as the combat. It has a linear structure, going from point A to point B with a few detours, which is not tiring. Many side quests are boring and pointless, of course, but it's okay. The duration is quite good overall. However, three things bothered me a lot:
First, it explains very little about who each character is, the history of many locations, and events in general, even powers. It constantly shows new things that are explained very little, so if you're new to the world of Final Fantasy, you won't understand anything.
Second, there are INCREDIBLY MANY CUT SCENES! Out of the 30 hours of gameplay, I probably watched 15 (many times pointless) videos and was in intermediate gameplay-cut scenes where I just walked slowly and the characters talked, etc.
Third, since they put in a 15-hour movie, they could have improved the performances a bit. The protagonists were like cucumbers, with bad reactions and bad acting. They all seemed awkward, even when talking to each other.
Overall, it's good, but not something to go crazy about. For around 15 euros, it's definitely worth it.
