I don't have the toughest or thickest beard, but where other machines struggled, didn't cut, or needed cleaning before I finished, this one doesn't get stuck anywhere. I neither clean it, nor even think about where to start, I just take everything as it is with a dry cut, in one minute I'm done and I clean it at the end.
The battery lasts a long time, although I don't use it that much.
The attachment for the nose and ears doesn't say much, although I think that generally this kind of attachments aren't very effective.
I nicked myself once in a sensitive area, it requires caution.

After a few years of mild use, it started acting up and suddenly turned on in the middle of the night while I was watching a horror movie, and I thought ghosts had come. I would turn it off and it would turn on again, and it would fall off the shelf. Anyway, after managing to turn it off for good, it took its last breath after 3 weeks! Now it cuts hair and beards well, but it has too many accessories that end up taking up space in the closet and I never use them, so get this with fewer accessories to save money and trouble! I will buy another one! I tried to open it and I can say that its construction is very good and it is unlikely that water will get inside the way it is made, probably the battery is the issue!

I am referring exclusively to the hair trimming machine and not the shaver (which is included in the set). It is a high-quality construction with a very long battery life. I use it at least 3-4 times a week to trim my beard (the specific 1mm length mentioned is the result I want). In the summer, it is also used occasionally on the body. Because it is mentioned to be waterproof (ipX7), its use in the shower has been very convenient (in terms of cleanliness). With careful use and meticulous care... unfortunately, over time and completely unexpectedly, it stopped working (I suspect that the waterproofing failed - without any drops or mistreatment). Fortunately, I had the original packaging with all the accessories, documents - purchase receipt, accessories, etc., so I could claim (at the authorized service point) for it to be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Of course, immediately after the purchase, I registered and entered the product on Philips.com (which supposedly unlocks an additional year of warranty). However, I have been informed by the repair company (AstraService for Greece) that I will receive a refund according to the purchase receipt... and here I am waiting for three weeks, with the next step being a complaint letter to Philips.com/global if nothing positive comes out of it. Until its last moment of operation, it was the best of its kind that has passed through my hands-face-body (having also used kemei, Braun, Remington, AEG, Philips of another series, etc.)

Την χρησιμοποιώ τουλάχιστον 3-4 φορές την εβδομάδα για να τριμάρω γένια (το συγκεκριμένο 1mm που αναφέρει ότι πετυχαίνει, είναι το αποτέλεσμα που θέλω).
Το καλοκαίρι γίνεται κ περιστασιακή χρήση στο σώμα. Επειδή αναφέρει ότι ειναι αδιάβροχη (ipX7) έχει βολέψει πάρα πολύ η χρήση της στο ντους (από θέμα καθαριότητας).
Με προσεκτική χρήση κ ευλαβική φροντίδα.... δυστυχώς πάνω στον χρόνο κ εντελώς ξαφνικά,παρέδωσε πνεύμα (υποψιάζομαι ότι η στεγανοποίηση της πήγε περίπατο-χωρίς καμία πτώση κ καμία κακο-μεταχείριση).
Ευτυχώς υπήρχε η αρχική συσκευασία με όλα τα παρελκόμενα, έντυπα - απόδειξη αγοράς, αξεσουάρ κλπ ώστε να απαιτήσω (στο αρμόδιο service point) να καλυφθεί απο την εγγύηση του κατασκευαστή.
Φυσικά, αμέσως μετά την αγορά της είχε γίνει η σχετική εγγραφή κ καταχώρηση της (product registration) στο Philips.com (που υποτίθεται ότι ξεκλειδώνεις κ έναν επιπλέον χρόνο εγγύησης. νταξει και οι 2 συσκευές τα σπάνε. η κουρευτικη παίζει να κόβει και θάμνους ξερωγω με ένα πέρασμα...θέλει προσοχή γιατί ματωνει για πλακα. το τριμερ νταξει κάνει καλή δουλειά αλλά θέλει ένα δεύτερο πέρασμα για σιγουριά
I am referring exclusively to the hair trimming machine and not the shaver (which is included in the set). It is a high-quality construction with a very long battery life. I use it at least 3-4 times a week to trim my beard (the specific 1mm length mentioned is the result I want). In the summer, it is also used occasionally on the body. Because it is mentioned to be waterproof (ipX7), its use in the shower has been very convenient (in terms of cleanliness). With careful use and meticulous care... unfortunately, over time and completely unexpectedly, it stopped working (I suspect that the waterproofing failed - without any drops or mistreatment). Fortunately, I had the original packaging with all the accessories, documents - purchase receipt, accessories, etc., so I could claim (at the authorized service point) for it to be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Of course, immediately after the purchase, I registered and entered the product on Philips.com (which supposedly unlocks an additional year of warranty). However, I have been informed by the repair company (AstraService for Greece) that I will receive a refund according to the purchase receipt... and here I am waiting for three weeks, with the next step being a complaint letter to Philips.com/global if nothing positive comes out of it. Until its last moment of operation, it was the best of its kind that has passed through my hands-face-body (having also used kemei, Braun, Remington, AEG, Philips of another series, etc.)
Αναφέρομαι αποκλειστικά στην κουρευτική - trimming μηχανή κ όχι στην ξυριστική (που περιλαμβάνεται στο set).
Πρόκειται για μια ποιοτική κατασκευή με πολύ
μεγάλη αυτονομία.
Την χρησιμοποιώ τουλάχιστον 3-4 φορές την εβδομάδα για να τριμάρω γένια (το συγκεκριμένο 1mm που αναφέρει ότι πετυχαίνει, είναι το αποτέλεσμα που θέλω).
Το καλοκαίρι γίνεται κ περιστασιακή χρήση στο σώμα. Επειδή αναφέρει ότι ειναι αδιάβροχη (ipX7) έχει βολέψει πάρα πολύ η χρήση της στο ντους (από θέμα καθαριότητας).
Με προσεκτική χρήση κ ευλαβική φροντίδα.... δυστυχώς πάνω στον χρόνο κ εντελώς ξαφνικά,παρέδωσε πνεύμα (υποψιάζομαι ότι η στεγανοποίηση της πήγε περίπατο-χωρίς καμία πτώση κ καμία κακο-μεταχείριση).
Ευτυχώς υπήρχε η αρχική συσκευασία με όλα τα παρελκόμενα, έντυπα - απόδειξη αγοράς, αξεσουάρ κλπ ώστε να απαιτήσω (στο αρμόδιο service point) να καλυφθεί απο την εγγύηση του κατασκευαστή.
Φυσικά, αμέσως μετά την αγορά της είχε γίνει η σχετική εγγραφή κ καταχώρηση της (product registration) στο Philips.com (που υποτίθεται ότι ξεκλειδώνεις κ έναν επιπλέον χρόνο εγγύησης. Παρόλα αυτά, έχω ενημερωθεί απο την επισκευάστρια εταιρία (AstraService για την Ελλάδα) ότι θα πάρω refund σύμφωνα με την απόδειξη αγοράς.... εδώ κ τρεις εβδομάδες αναμένω, με επόμενο βήμα την επιστολή-παράπονο στο Philips.com/global αν δεν προκύψει κάτι θετικό.
Μέχρι την τελευταία στιγμή λειτουργίας της ήταν ότι καλύτερο του είδους έχει περάσει απο τα χέρια-προσωπο-σώμα μου (έχοντας επίσης, kemei, Braun, Remington, AEG, Philips άλλης σειράς κλπ)
I don't have the toughest or thickest beard, but where other machines struggled, didn't cut, or needed cleaning before I finished, this one doesn't get stuck anywhere. I neither clean it, nor even think about where to start, I just take everything as it is with a dry cut, in one minute I'm done and I clean it at the end.
The battery lasts a long time, although I don't use it that much.
The attachment for the nose and ears doesn't say much, although I think that generally this kind of attachments aren't very effective.
I nicked myself once in a sensitive area, it requires caution.
I haven't used the OneBlade yet because I didn't need to, I forgot that I have it, but it looks even more dangerous to use.
It hasn't had the slightest problem so far.
Proof that for some products it's worth paying a little more, the previous ones were wasted money.
Μακράν η καλύτερη μηχανή που είχα ποτέ.
Δεν έχω και τα πιο σκληρά ή πυκνά γένια, αλλά εκεί που οι άλλες μηχανές ζορίζονταν, δεν έκοβαν ή χρειάζονταν καθάρισμα πριν τελειώσω, αυτή δεν κολλάει πουθενά. Ούτε την καθαρίζω, ούτε καν σκέφτομαι από που να αρχίσω, απλά τα παίρνω όλα όπως είναι στεγνό κούρεμα, σε ένα λεπτό τελείωσα και την καθαρίζω στο τέλος.
Η μπαταρία κρατάει πολύ, αν και δεν τη χρησιμοποιώ και πολύ.
Το εξάρτημα για τη μύτη και τα αυτιά δε λέει και πολλά, αν και νομίζω ότι γενικώς αυτού του είδους τα εξαρτήματα δεν είναι και πολύ αποτελεσματικά.
Σφάχτηκα μια φορά σε ευαίσθητη περιοχή, θέλει προσοχή.
Τη OneBlade δεν τη χρησιμοποίησα ακόμα γιατί δε χρειάστηκε, ξέχασα ότι την έχω, αλλά φαίνεται ακόμα πιο επικίνδυνη στη χρήση της.
Δεν έχει βγάλει το παραμικρό πρόβλημα έως τώρα.
Απόδειξη ότι για κάποια προϊόντα αξίζει να πληρώσεις κάτι παραπάνω, οι προηγούμενες ήταν τα χαμένα λεφτά.
After a few years of mild use, it started acting up and suddenly turned on in the middle of the night while I was watching a horror movie, and I thought ghosts had come. I would turn it off and it would turn on again, and it would fall off the shelf. Anyway, after managing to turn it off for good, it took its last breath after 3 weeks! Now it cuts hair and beards well, but it has too many accessories that end up taking up space in the closet and I never use them, so get this with fewer accessories to save money and trouble! I will buy another one! I tried to open it and I can say that its construction is very good and it is unlikely that water will get inside the way it is made, probably the battery is the issue!
Μετά από μερικά χρόνια ήπιας χρήσης τα έπαιξε μου άναβε ξαφνικά μες το βράδυ όταν έβλεπα ταινία τρόμου και νόμιζα ότι είχαν έρθει φαντασματα το εσβηνα και ξανά άναβε και έπεφτε από το ράφι τέλος πάντως αφού κατάφερα να το σβήσω για τα καλά άφησε την τελευταία του πνοή μετα από 3 βδομάδες! Τώρα κόβει καλά μαλλιά και γένια έχει υπερβολικά πολλά αξεσουάρ που καταλήγουν να πιάνουν χώρο στο ντουλάπα και να μην τα χρησιμοποιώ ποτέ αρα πάρτε αυτο με τα λιγότερα αξεσουάρ να γλιτώσετε λεφτά και ταλαιπωρία! Θα ξανά πάρω ένα! Να πο ότι προσπάθησα να το ανοίξω και μπορώ να πω ότι η κατασκευή του είναι πολύ καλή και ότι αποκλείεται να μπαίνει νερό μέσα με το τρόπο που είναι κατασκευασμενο μάλλον η μπαταρία είναι!
Okay, both devices are awesome. The hair clipper can even cut bushes with just one pass... it requires caution because it can bleed easily. The trimmer does a good job, but it needs a second pass for certainty
