The BMC FB286/08 high-flow air filter for the Porsche 911 features a multi-layer construction made of cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil, delivering high airflow and reduced pressure loss. The braided alloy frame with an epoxy coating is protected against petrol vapours and oxidation caused by moisture. The Full Molding method, using soft rubber moulded as a single piece without bonded joints, provides a durable construction with no risk of breakage.
