BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure higher airflow than the original paper filters. In F1, for example, BMC fiberglass filters minimize the loss of air flow pressure passing through the filter. In this way, they ensure the best conditions for fully exploiting maximum power. Therefore, the benefits of replacing the original paper filter with the BMC fiberglass air filter, which is produced using the same technology and materials as the F1 air filters, are evident. 

Design and Materials

The specialized engineers at BMC, using advanced software and technical experts, with the use of the latest technologies, produce BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very lightweight, made from the best raw materials, and improve performance. For this reason, only woven alloys with epoxy coating are used to ensure protection from gasoline fumes and oxidation due to air moisture. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil to offer you the best possible air permeability.

Advanced Technology

The technical staff of BMC has developed a specific production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the familiar red BMC filters. They are made in a single piece without welded joints at the corners, thus avoiding the risk of breakage. This system, called "Full Molding," originates from R&D in F1 and is significant for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
