    I used it on the unpainted plastic of the bumper without any noticeable color damage after 11 years. However, I noticed a difference when applying it to darker and glossier surfaces. I will see how it holds up with washing, but I can easily reapply it every now and then since it's not difficult. I believe it's worth the money!
