Origin

The adidas Stan Smith is a classic tennis shoe and is known for its white and green color. It is widely regarded as one of the most iconic silhouettes of all time. It was first released in the early 1960s and initially did not even carry the name Stan Smith, but was known as Robert Haillet, after the French tennis player. When Haillet retired from tennis, adidas decided it needed a successor. Then, American tennis player Stan Smith was proposed, and the rest is history.

Timeless design

Over half a century in the market and true to the original design, the classic Stan Smith sneakers offer style. They have served as the centerpiece of collaborations and have been released in hundreds of special editions and colors. They are typically made from white leather, with both the upper part and the laces also in white. Unlike other adidas shoes, they do not have the famous 3 stripes but instead feature three rows of perforated ventilation holes.
