SACHS offers car shock absorbers for every requirement. A special feature of the product is its construction based on aluminum, which makes it particularly lightweight. The interior of the shock absorber piston has variable wall thickness, which guarantees the shock absorber's durability under high load conditions. The remaining areas are designed to be as thin as possible to achieve the greatest possible weight savings. The mass production of this high-tech product is based on a complex process that produces the different wall thicknesses in up to 17 coordinated steps of the production process.
