Overall, the set adequately covers basic needs and is considered good value for money. It’s described as suitable for everyday use or as a backup, while some users appreciate the keyboard’s lighting and long cables. However, several reviewers point to dim lighting, low build quality, and occasional issues with the keys.
The keyboard is perfect for normal use. I didn't use the mouse, but it doesn't seem very durable either
Well, this particular keyboard is not the best for general use. Personally, I found it at a low price and it seemed legit to me. I got it for general use thinking that I would never have to deal with buying a keyboard again, but here we are. First, this keyboard has a strong plastic smell and generally the material is not of very good quality. Second, you turn on the RGB by pressing the scroll lock (which means that if you want lights, you have to keep the scroll lock on all the time. And the lights are never very bright or nice. They are fixed in blue, red, and green). Another downside of this keyboard is that it has 2 windows keys. I really see this for the first time. As for the mouse, I have nothing to say, it seems fake. It fell once from less than half a meter and broke. And when I say broke, I mean it doesn't work anymore. Only the lights turn on. I understand that for its price this is what you get, but I expected it to be much better than it is. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is that it has a special tool for removing the keycaps in case it needs cleaning or for any other reason. So yes, for those wondering, that tool you see in the picture is not a lie, it actually exists in the keyboard and specifically has something like a special compartment at the bottom of the keyboard where it goes. If you want it for general everyday use, I wouldn't recommend it at all. Now I have it as a second keyboard in case my main one has an issue (for my main, I have a Razer Ornata Chroma).
For the money, it does the job just fine. I have it as a backup in case mine mysteriously explodes.
The keyboard in one day with very little usage already has a problem with the right arrow and the letter i. Let's go for another one...
Positive:
- It seems to be a quality construction.
- The keyboard cable is quite long (about 1.5m).
- The mouse LEDs are bright and the colors alternate (I don't know if I can choose a specific color, intensity, or pattern).
Negative:
- The mouse cable length is short (about 1m).
- Lack of support. The website mentioned on the packaging does not exist (www.loophole.hk) and a Google search only returns Greek e-shops that sell it.
- There are no basic instructions for the "RGB" keyboard, which my son accidentally discovered that the LEDs turn on with the scroll lock key, but the colors are probably static (they do not alternate or are not programmable). At least I haven't figured out how, if this feature exists (if it does, someone please enlighten me so I'm not unfair in my evaluation).
- The keys are not illuminated (in a dark room, the letters are not visible as the lighting is underneath, at the base).
- The keyboard LEDs are relatively weak, unlike the mouse LEDs (see above).
On the other hand, with a purchase price of €12.50, maybe I shouldn't have high expectations... it's not like it's a RAZER!
I bought it second-hand. It does its job at a satisfactory level. However, the build quality is quite poor and the RGB lights are weak.
