    It does not have its own power supply, so one must already have one if they want to have it plugged into an outlet and not a USB port on a computer. A USB-C cable is included in the package, although it is short, 1m. If you purchase a power supply (like those used for charging mobile phones and tablets), it is good to have an output of 2.0A or higher, so that the phone can be charged while the lamp is on.
