Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
These speakers are excellent... I bought them on special offer for 460euro and combine so many things a good speaker is supposed to do which is really rare at this price. They are driven by a nad c325bee with tidal source and schiit modi 3+ dac. They have the ability to play cleanly at high volumes, so it would be good to have an amplifier above 50 watts that can also drive 4-ohm speakers because although their specifications are 6 ohms, their impedance often drops to 4 ohms and requires strong currents from the amplifier. They have impeccable tonality for their category, and all instruments sound with their natural timbre. The piano, which is generally difficult for most speakers, is a breeze for the Oberon and sounds incredible. Placement is easy and they do not require toe-in because they have wide dispersion. However, they do need some distance from the rear wall (at least 20 centimeters).
Their strong points are classical music, jazz, blues, and electronic, but overall, they can play all genres because they are balanced speakers. If you sit very close to the speakers, they may sound better acoustically with the grilles, which surprisingly do not distort the sound in a bad way and in some cases even improve it (for example, with old mediocre recordings).
They are also very good for movies, with clear dialogue and plenty of detail and intensity in the effects.
So, in summary... The speakers are definitely worth a listen, and consider investing in a good amplifier within your budget to fully enjoy them. It would be good to test the amplifier and speakers together before making any purchase to avoid surprises. It's not just about power in amplification, but also how it will match with the speakers it will be driving.
I forgot to mention that they require a break-in period of several hours (around 100 hours). I mention this because initially their sound may disappoint you, but after 10-20 hours, you will realize that the sound not only improves but transforms at all levels.

The speakers are connected to a Denon a/v 5.1 but they play on their own as front large speakers. They are quite high-quality in terms of construction. They don't have a "lot" of character, but they are warm and accurate. The bass for the speaker category is very satisfactory. The highs are not prominent and the mids are lively. Overall, it is a very balanced and pleasant speaker. It takes a few hours to show its character and I think it loves high volumes.
Update 10/2022: A Rel 1003 subwoofer has been added and the speakers have been set as small with the xover at 80hz. The speakers are exceptional. They have depth and accuracy without coloration or tonal distortions. They create a precise soundstage and with the subwoofer, I believe they are taken to another level. At the moment I am writing this, their price has reached €700. There may be equally or even better options at this price range (+-). However, at the €500 I bought them for, I don't think they have a competitor in their category.
I have had the speakers for a week and I don't know to what extent their sound behavior can change. My opinion about them is 1) mediocre build quality and 2) they can play at high volumes but the sound is not very clear, they have a slightly dark character (I don't know if it can be improved with different cables but I tried 3 different yamamura 1000 chord carnival and tara space time). At low volumes, I found them mediocre, they cannot accompany more expensive amplifiers and sources as I have them, so it is best to listen to them before buying them. I think the review of the What Hi Fi magazine is fairer than mine. I will add in the future if there is any change.
P.S. After 2 years and a lot of involvement regarding their placement in the room and many changes in cables, interconnects, and speakers, they are literally wasted money
