The Hatzidakis Winery was founded in 1997 by Haridimos Hatzidakis and Konstantina Chryssou. Their vineyard, at an altitude of 330 meters in the village of Pyrgos Kallistis, had been uncultivated since 1956, offering an excellent opportunity for organic cultivation. It was the first vineyard in Santorini certified by DIO.
The Hatzidakis Winery is the only certified organic grower in Santorini and practices organic cultivation in all its vineyards.
