It deserves 4 - 5 stars just for the amazing protection and longevity it has. I use it during the summer afternoons without any reapplication and with plenty of sun exposure, and I have never gotten burned. Its downside is that you have to massage it into your body and arms for a long time for it to spread evenly and without streaks. The texture for the face, especially for oily skin, is not great, but for me, who has normal to dry skin, it has worked well; just as I said, it takes time to apply it properly and for the color to fade.

I bought it last summer. I have rosacea on my face. I work in the cold and I have skin irritations. I use it in the morning before going to work and by noon my skin is moisturized.
I have melasma on my face and with this specific sunscreen, I didn't get any new spots. I would reapply the sunscreen every two hours.
It has a nice texture, a nude shade, and it absorbs quickly. It doesn't sting the eyes like other sunscreens.

The company claims that it is fluid, however, it does not absorb anything and you end up melting on top of it due to sweating, making you shine like a fish and leaving you essentially unprotected from the sun. It does not absorb easily, it is very heavy, I would not recommend it for the face. It has a sticky feeling that saddens you and makes you not want to use it, which in itself is a red flag for a sunscreen. The worst part is that it has a useless color (yellow), which leaves stains on all clothes/swimsuits/towels and generally on any surface it comes into contact with (even the seats of our car turned yellow). For this reason, it cannot be used even as a body lotion, in case someone is not satisfied with its texture. Money wasted. It's a shame, because I had a high opinion of Avene as a company. It has disappointed me in sunscreens, both for the body and the face. Never again Avene.

It is a good sunscreen but it leaves color on clothes. I bought it for my daughter and it has stained all her onesies.

It is the second summer that I prefer it and I have tried several. Since the baby was 7 months old, I have been using it until now that he is 2 years old, it is the sunscreen that I prefer. It spreads easily. Okay, it leaves some greasiness but it is logical! The smell is somewhat nonexistent and does not bother. The baby never got burned, nor did we!! It stains the clothes and it takes a little effort to remove, to be honest! We can't have it all! But for me, it is the most convenient so far! Unparalleled protection for everyone! This is the 4th time I buy it

I haven't used any other sunscreen for three years! This one respects my eyes and is incredibly moisturizing, like an expensive cream! Unbelievable product, I also got it for my 20-month-old grandson who is fair-haired and fair-skinned! Avene is simply synonymous with quality!

I found it to be a wonderful sunscreen for my body, not for my face. It is gentle, spreads easily with a nice rich texture, has a discreet shade that blends with my skin, absorbs immediately, and does not stain my clothes. But most importantly, I chose it for its effectiveness in providing sun protection. And of course, I recommend it.

It is a good sunscreen, but it leaves yellowish marks everywhere, making you shine like you're from Mars, and it takes a long time to absorb. It also leaves an extra greasiness after a while, so oily skin types may not tolerate it easily or at all, I would say. As for acne, which I also tend to have, it's probably relatively okay, but I'm not entirely sure because I occasionally get pimples anyway, and I don't think the sunscreen contributes to that. Another issue is that, in combination with prolonged mask use and the greasiness of this particular sunscreen, I believe it caused a small dermatitis problem from contact near the nose and next to the mouth. Overall, the sunscreen is so-so, perhaps more suitable for the beach, but still with reservations.

Well, I have mixed feelings about this sunscreen. Well, I have bought about 6 bottles since summer and of course I would buy it again. It is a very effective sunscreen with a high protection factor and the new Avene filter. Whoever wears it is in good hands. But, it is heavy, especially if you are somewhere humid like a kitchen or in the summer. It also leaves a white cast because the filter is opaque. And unfortunately, it feels like wearing oil (also because of the filter) if you apply the normal amount. Even my dermatologist didn't like it, what can I say... she's right, but I can tolerate it. It's worth a try, you won't lose anything!

I used it myself, as well as my child who has sensitive skin. It didn't bother us at all, it's a very good sunscreen for sensitive skin. It leaves a slightly greasy texture on the skin, but it absorbs satisfactorily as time passes. I don't know how much it protects in strong sun because we used it during winter. I will definitely buy it again.

Very good sunscreen that protects quite well. It has no scent and spreads easily. Also, since I generally have sensitive skin and issues with dermatitis and allergies that have been caused by other sunscreens and face creams, it is very important for me that it did not cause me any problems.

Overall, all of Avene's sunscreens, despite being excellent (with new technology filters), leave a white cast. This sunscreen does not leave a white cast and also does not sting the eyes at all. It is moisturizing/oily (reminds me of the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Hydrating Cream in terms of oiliness), but personally, the feeling does not bother me because I usually apply makeup or tinted moisturizer. I recommend it.

Finally, a sunscreen without fragrance!!! It doesn't smell like anything! Fantastic.
Personally, I have normal skin and I had no issues with oiliness, I highly recommend it.
Now, for oily skin, maybe the version specifically for the face is better. Give it a try, especially if you have issues with the scents of sunscreens.
