Two words about issue 2 of harmony topics
1. Preparatory exercises: An original method of presenting the subject matter of harmony where each example is simultaneously a practice exercise. In these sections, each example-exercise is accompanied by observations and suggestions regarding various harmonic techniques.
2. General exercises: Harmony topics where the presented bass line is followed by its corresponding melody. Following the instructor's guidance, it is possible to seek a completely different harmonization instead of superimposing the given elements (one of which is the solution to the other).
3. Analysis exercises: Solved topics in which the student must seek their harmonic interpretation.
4. Topics that, although not accompanied by specific suggestions and observations, are based on the traditional form of harmonic structures, meaning they either have the form of a numbered bass or the form of a simple melody for harmonization.
