The QNap TS-832PX is a Tower-type NAS with eight bays for 3.5-inch SATA drives and a quad-core AnnapurnaLabs AL324 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. It features 4 GB of DDR4 memory, two 10GbE SFP+ ports and two 2.5GbE LAN ports for network connectivity and file transfers. It supports PCIe cards, such as QM2 cards, for M.2 SATA/NVMe SSD caching and automatic Qtier storage tiering.

The bays accept HDDs and SSDs. Features include backup, file, database, FTP and media servers, as well as Surveillance Station. Drives are not included. Supported RAID configurations are RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and JBOD.
