As part of the new Undergraduate Program of the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the teaching of the Interdisciplinary Seminar titled Law and Religion has been established, among other things.
The purpose of this new course is to provide a multifaceted scientific approach to the new legal realities posed in recent decades by the emergence of novel challenges stemming from the influence of religion in the Greek and European public sphere, as evidenced by the growing body of relevant case law from the European Court of Human Rights.
This collective work includes studies by colleagues who honored the teaching of the Interdisciplinary Seminar, adding scientific quality and contemporary reflections on current issues within its multifaceted themes.
The concise publication of the following texts aims primarily to facilitate the study of the Seminar's students, especially in light of the observed lack of comprehensive and reliable related works.
