This edition contains the Civil Code and the Introductory Law in the demotic (PD 456/1984) with all the (express or implied) repeals, replacements, modifications, and additions to their original texts by the Code of Civil Procedure, the Introductory Law of the Code of Civil Procedure, Law 1250/1982, Law 1329/1983, Law 2447/1996, Law 2721/1999, Law 3043/2002, Law 3089/2002, Law 3719/2008, the 'Fair Trial' law (2012), and by special laws.

Disputes are also noted where they have been raised. Under the relevant article of the Civil Code and the Introductory Law, the related articles of the Civil Code, the Introductory Law, the Code of Civil Procedure, and other special laws are presented, along with brief comments (especially concerning jurisdiction issues).

Particularly in Family Law, the correspondence between old and new articles is also referenced. This was deemed necessary, since in many cases, the comparison of old and new regulations aids in the interpretation of the latter.

The edition is complemented by an extensive alphabetical index and an index of articles of the Civil Code, as well as with Chapter A of Law 3719/2008 regarding the cohabitation agreement.
