Custom features include flash exposure lock, AF beam focus assist, modeling strobe, and 9 customizable functions.

The YN-E3-RT II transmitter operates for 10 hours of continuous use with AA/LR6 alkaline batteries. A power-saving mode turns off the device after 5 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life.

The YN-E3-RT II also supports firmware updates for future compatibility.
