I used it once for spraying weeds on a plot of land as a fire protection measure before summer. The product is generally not user-friendly. It operates with 5 D batteries that are inserted internally and along the length of the pole. According to the instructions, in order to achieve effective spraying, the pole must be held 1 meter above the top of the objects being sprayed, which is impossible for tall weeds (since it is advertised as a weed killer product), firstly because it is very difficult and tiring for the user to hold a heavy pole of 1m+ length so high, and secondly, it does not function if lifted so high, as it cannot draw liquid from the tank located on the back. The machine also requires patience. It really requires patience. But someone must have a loooooot of patience to operate it. And let me explain: There are many times when the machine does not draw liquid, mainly because I accidentally lifted it a little and disrupted the continuous flow. Therefore, the user must constantly monitor the transparent tube to observe the flow of liquids, as well as the tip of the nozzle to see if it is spraying liquid. The liquid sprayed by the nozzle is propelled so gently that it can be compared to a hand-held sprayer of moderate force, perhaps even with less effective dispersion of the liquid. Having said all that, it took me probably less than 1 hour to finish a 5-liter container on a half-acre area. I believe I could have done the same job much faster, more comfortably, and more accurately with a backpack sprayer with the classic pump in hand, and I would have had the backpack sprayer left to spray trees if I wanted. I regret buying it and I do not recommend it to anyone. I give it 2 stars for the sole reason that in the end, I probably got the job done.
