The Pro-Ject Audio X2 turntable with an Ortofon 2M Silver cartridge uses belt drive and electronic speed control, with a choice of 33⅓, 45 and 78 rpm. The precision motor is electronically controlled and features a damping construction that reduces vibrations and noise. The MM cartridge has silver coils, while the tonearm allows azimuth and VTA adjustment.
The MDF chassis is 50 mm thick, and the acrylic platter is 30 mm thick and weighs 2 kg. The main bearing is made of stainless steel, while the adjustable aluminium feet absorb vibrations. Included are a 15 V DC / 800 mA power supply, dust cover, E Phono RCA cable and felt mat.
