The Ethernet extension cable has a gold-plated plug, high-quality aluminum cover, and protective copper lining. 8 Stranded Copper wires with aluminum protective covering, better than copper-clad aluminum (CCA) wire. Complies with Category 6 TIA / EIA 568-C.2 standard.
The protective clip protects the RJ45 plug from unwanted issues when routing the cable and avoids constant plugging and unplugging of the cable from a computer's network port.
Used to connect UTP, FTP, and STP Cat 6 ethernet cable, also compatible with Cat 5, 5e cable. Can also be used with Cat 7 ethernet cable, while the transfer speed will be the standard cat 6 speed.
