Apply the Medium Crackler with crossed brush strokes. While applying the second color, be careful not to repaint over the already painted surface to avoid interrupting the process. To create the Crackle effect between two water-based colors, apply the background color, then a layer of Medium Crackler, and finally a layer of the second color. Allow to dry between layers.
