Description

The Neptune Systems Trident is an automated system that regularly checks the alkalinity (KH), calcium (Ca), and magnesium (Mg) in your saltwater aquarium. It communicates the data to the Apex, allowing you to receive notifications and adjust the dosage of trace elements.

When combined with the DOS (sold separately), it creates a fully automated system for the proper dosing of supplements.

Features:
  • Automatic monitoring of alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium.
  • Up to 12 magnesium tests per day with accuracy +/-15 ppm.
  • Up to 24 alkalinity tests per day with accuracy +/-0.05 dKh.
  • Up to 12 calcium tests per day with accuracy +/-15 ppm.
  • Uses ~7.9 ml of water sample per parameter.
  • Measurement time ~7 minutes per parameter.
  • Test reagents can last for up to 1 month before needing to be replaced.

When combined with the DŌS system, the data from the Trident can be used to automatically adjust the amount of additives. This makes monitoring alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium easier.
