Unfortunately, on a vent with vertical slats in a Subaru Forester, it cannot hold with the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It might have better luck in a car with horizontal vents. The other model from the company with the ratchet works perfectly. Both have a very strong magnet, it's just that this particular one doesn't fit vertical vents

For the Motorola Edge 60 Pro that I have, this charger at first does not have the necessary strength to hold the phone (without a case!) in case of a pothole or a sharp turn. As if that wasn't enough, after a few days it got even weaker, resulting in it not being able to hold the phone at all, it slips and falls. Now I use it at home on a table for slow charging, especially at night, so that the USB port doesn't get loose (at least in the long run).

Σαν να μην έφτανε αυτό μετά από μερικές μέρες αποδυναμώθηκε και άλλο με αποτέλεσμα να μην μπορεί να κρατήσει το κινητό καθόλου, γλιστρά και πέφτει.
Τώρα τον χρησιμοποιώ στο σπιτι πάνω σε τραπέζι για αργή φορτιση ειδικά το βράδυ ώστε να μη χαλαρώνει το USB port (έστω μακροχρόνια).

Two days ago I got the iPhone 17 Pro Max, again with the same Spigen case BUT unfortunately it seems that the mount DOES NOT fit the iPhone 17 Pro Max because from the start it is obvious that it does not "snap" well onto the mount.

The best gadget I've bought for the car by far. Ever since I installed a tablet, its placement helps a lot to drive more safely using Google Maps. In terms of charging, it's not fast charge but it charges slowly. Of course, if you have a live stream open on Twitch/YouTube with 5G, the phone doesn't have time to charge and discharges. The magnet combined with MagSafe in a case for iPhone 15 Pro Max is amazing; with all the bad roads throughout Greece plus dirt roads and any other vibration you can imagine, only once did my phone come off and fall down. As for the grip on the air conditioner's air vent, it still holds up fine and has never fallen off. Extra bonus: with the same cable, you just disconnect it and give it to someone else in the car to charge who has a regular plug and not MagSafe. I highly recommend it.

Από άποψη φόρτισες δεν είναι fast charge αλλά σιγά σιγά φορτίζει. Βεβαια αν έχεις ανοιχτό live stream twitch/YouTube με 5G, το κινητό δεν προλαβαίνει να φορτίσει και αποφορτίζεται. Ο μαγνήτης σε συνδυασμό με MagSafe σε θήκη για ιphone 15 Pro max φοβερός, με όλους τους χάλια δρόμους ανά την Ελλάδα + χωματόδρομους και ότι άλλο κραδασμό μπορείτε να φανταστείτε μόνο μια φορά μου ξεκόλλησε το κινητό κι έφυγε κάτω. Όσον αφορά το πιάσιμο/μάγκωμα στην έξοδο του αεραγωγού του air condition ακόμα αντέχει μια χαρά και δεν έφυγε ποτέ. Έξτρα μπόνους ότι με το ίδιο καλώδιο απλά το αποσυνδέεις και δίνεις σε άλλον στο αμάξι να φορτίσει που έχει απλό βύσμα και όχι magSafe. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

The best case I have ever tried. Initially, since the cloth that holds the entire base has a screw at the base of the clip, it cannot come off no matter what. Because this base has this feature, I no longer have the issue I had with older bases.
After that, the MagSafe is truly excellent in holding. The phone neither moves nor does anything. It is perfect. If you also have a charger and the connection charges simply know that the wireless charging heats it up a bit and if you are using GPS and at the same time the sun is hitting it, it will get warm. In winter, there will be no issue, but in summer, keep the vent open to let the cold air hit it. And in winter, keep the vent closed so the hot air doesn't hit it.

Για το motorola edge 60 pro που έχω ο φορτιστής αυτός στην αρχή δεν έχει την απαραίτητη δύναμη να κρατήσει το κινητό (χωρίς θήκη!) σε περίπτωση κάποιας λακκούβας ή απότομης στροφής.
Σαν να μην έφτανε αυτό μετά από μερικές μέρες αποδυναμώθηκε και άλλο με αποτέλεσμα να μην μπορεί να κρατήσει το κινητό καθόλου, γλιστρά και πέφτει.
Τώρα τον χρησιμοποιώ στο σπιτι πάνω σε τραπέζι για αργή φορτιση ειδικά το βράδυ ώστε να μη χαλαρώνει το USB port (έστω μακροχρόνια).

Very strong and stable. It holds the 17 pro max with a Spiegen case sufficiently. I also have a stiff suspension in the car and the phone doesn't go anywhere.
Anyone who has an issue with the magnet should check their case; if the plastic is too thick, it doesn't magnetize well.

I bought it 2 months ago for the iPhone 15 Pro Max using a Spigen Clear Case MagSafe for Renault Clio 2025. Truly an incredible mount, unbelievably stable and it wouldn't budge even on potholes.
Two days ago I got the iPhone 17 Pro Max, again with the same Spigen case BUT unfortunately it seems that the mount DOES NOT fit the iPhone 17 Pro Max because from the start it is obvious that it does not "snap" well onto the mount.

Πριν 2 μέρες πήρα στα χέρια μου το iPhone 17 Pro Max, πάλι με την ίδια θήκη από Spigen ΑΛΛΑ δυστυχώς φαίνεται πως η βάση ΔΕΝ κάνει για το iPhone 17 Pro Max διότι φαίνεται από την αρχή ότι δεν "κουμπώνει" καλα επάνω στην βάση.
Very good for its price! If the magnet doesn't stick well, it's an issue with the phone case. I tried two different cases myself and one had a stronger attraction. The phone never fell, even though I have a stiff suspension in the car.

The best gadget I've bought for the car by far. Ever since I installed a tablet, its placement helps a lot to drive more safely using Google Maps. In terms of charging, it's not fast charge but it charges slowly. Of course, if you have a live stream open on Twitch/YouTube with 5G, the phone doesn't have time to charge and discharges. The magnet combined with MagSafe in a case for iPhone 15 Pro Max is amazing; with all the bad roads throughout Greece plus dirt roads and any other vibration you can imagine, only once did my phone come off and fall down. As for the grip on the air conditioner's air vent, it still holds up fine and has never fallen off. Extra bonus: with the same cable, you just disconnect it and give it to someone else in the car to charge who has a regular plug and not MagSafe. I highly recommend it.
Το καλύτερο gadget που έχω πάρει για το αυτοκίνητο με διαφορά. Μέχρι που έβαλα tablet βοηθάει πάρα πολλή η τοποθέτηση του για να οδηγάς με πιο ασφάλεια χρησιμοποιώντας google maps. Από άποψη φόρτισες δεν είναι fast charge αλλά σιγά σιγά φορτίζει. Βεβαια αν έχεις ανοιχτό live stream twitch/YouTube με 5G, το κινητό δεν προλαβαίνει να φορτίσει και αποφορτίζεται. Ο μαγνήτης σε συνδυασμό με MagSafe σε θήκη για ιphone 15 Pro max φοβερός, με όλους τους χάλια δρόμους ανά την Ελλάδα + χωματόδρομους και ότι άλλο κραδασμό μπορείτε να φανταστείτε μόνο μια φορά μου ξεκόλλησε το κινητό κι έφυγε κάτω. Όσον αφορά το πιάσιμο/μάγκωμα στην έξοδο του αεραγωγού του air condition ακόμα αντέχει μια χαρά και δεν έφυγε ποτέ. Έξτρα μπόνους ότι με το ίδιο καλώδιο απλά το αποσυνδέεις και δίνεις σε άλλον στο αμάξι να φορτίσει που έχει απλό βύσμα και όχι magSafe. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Quite a good stand. Especially for iPhone users with MagSafe. I have the iPhone 16 and it supports it just fine. I haven't tried charging much, but it doesn't seem particularly fast. I mainly charge it on long trips where I constantly have the GPS on the phone.

The best case I have ever tried. Initially, since the cloth that holds the entire base has a screw at the base of the clip, it cannot come off no matter what. Because this base has this feature, I no longer have the issue I had with older bases.
After that, the MagSafe is truly excellent in holding. The phone neither moves nor does anything. It is perfect. If you also have a charger and the connection charges simply know that the wireless charging heats it up a bit and if you are using GPS and at the same time the sun is hitting it, it will get warm. In winter, there will be no issue, but in summer, keep the vent open to let the cold air hit it. And in winter, keep the vent closed so the hot air doesn't hit it.
Ό,τι καλύτερο έχω δοκιμάσει σαν θήκη. Αρχικά καθώς το μαντηλάκι που κρατάει όλη την βάση έχει στη βάση από το μανταλάκι βίδα, δεν μπορεί να φύγει με το τίποτα. Λόγω του ότι αυτή η βάση το έχει αυτό δεν έχω πια θέμα που είχα με παλιότερες βάσης.
Μετά το MagSafe είναι πραγματικά άριστο στο κράτημα. Το κινητό ούτε κουνιέται, ούτε τίποτα. Είναι τέλειο. Αν έχεις επίσης φορτιστή και τον σύνδεσης φορτίζει απλά να ξέρετε ότι η ασύρματο φόρτιση το ζεστέ ή λιγάκι και αν χρησιμοποιείτε το GPS και συγχρόνως το χτυπάει ο ήλιος θα ζεσταθεί. As a setup, it is very easy and does not move at all. The magnet is quite good (iPhone 12). As for charging, it's nothing special. If you have any open application, e.g., Google Maps, the battery indicator literally does not go up at all, it just drops more slowly.

It sits very well on the air vent (ford fiesta 2015). The phone is the 15 pro, with an ESR case which has a strong magnet, so you need to apply force to remove the phone from the holder. Στη φόρτιση μέτρια τα πράγματα (πολύ ωραίο το μπλε φωτάκι περιμετρικά) όμως με ένα καλώδιο είσαι οκ από κάτω. Είναι ότι καλύτερο πραγματικά.
