The JJC A+ F-MCUV Series Ultra Slim Multi-Coated UV Filter is effective in absorbing ultraviolet radiation. The lens is designed with 6 layers of coating on each surface to reduce internal reflections and flares. The average light transmission is at least 99.5%, providing high color fidelity.

The lens is made from Japanese optical glass and a precision aluminum frame. The hardness of the filter glass reaches 9HD, offering additional protection in case of drops or scratches. Moreover, this filter features an incredibly thin design, with a glass thickness of just 0.03" (0.7mm) and a frame thickness of 0.12” (3mm), helping to minimize the risk of vignetting. The aluminum frame has a matte finish and is resistant to corrosion.

It follows ROHS specifications as restricted by the European Union. The front side of the frame has threads for attaching a lens cap or other accessories. The filter also helps reduce dust and moisture reaching your lens element. It is useful as a general protective filter that can remain on the lens at all times.
