I did not buy this particular model, but I tried it on. I normally wear the W (WIDE) size, which is the wide fit. Since SEBAGO was acquired by an Italian multinational company, the WIDE size stopped being available, and the R (REGULAR) size is now available, which is the regular fit.
For me, the R size is overall tight, and even if I try a larger size (even half a size larger, to compensate for the absence of the wide W fit), the shoe starts to slip off at the back.
For me, it is a NO for an otherwise excellent shoe, with incredible construction quality and versatile use. Obviously, it may fit perfectly for some people, so they should definitely try it on. However, they should not buy it without trying it on first.
Το συγκεκριμένο μοντέλο δεν το αγόρασα αλλά το δοκίμασα. Φοράω κανονικά την φόρμα W (WIDE) που είναι η φαρδιά φόρμα. Από τότε που η SEBAGO εξαγοράστηκε από Ιταλική πολυεθνική εταιρεία, η φόρμα WIDE σταμάτησε να κυκλοφορεί, και κυκλοφορεί η φόρμα R (REGULAR), δηλαδή κανονική φόρμα.
Εμένα η φόρμα R μου είναι στενή συνολικά, ενώ αν δοκιμάσω και ανέβω σε νούμερο (έστω και μισό νούμερο, ώστε να εξισορροπήσω την απουσία της φαρδιάς φόρμας W), το παπούτσι αρχίζει και βγαίνει από πίσω.
Από εμένα είναι ΟΧΙ σε ένα κατά τα άλλα εξαιρετικό παπούτσι, με απίστευτη ποιότητα κατασκευής και πολλαπλή χρήση. Προφανώς, σε κάποιους να ταιριάζει άριστα στο πόδι τους, οπότε οπωσδήποτε να το δοκιμάσουν. Όμως να μην το αγοράσουν αν δεν το δοκιμάσουν πιο πριν.
