ok.....very interesting......I bought 3 bottles from AB because at 26 euros it was the price I paid for the double cask 3 years ago, and considering where prices have gone, I considered it a good value for money. First experience was mediocre, it seemed very alcoholic, with a strong "rust" aftertaste, with the alcoholic part overpowering all the aromas. With some friends we reached halfway through the bottle, I closed it in the cellar and returned after 10 days. Obviously the contact with the air changed it and I had a very exciting experience. The sherry was noticeable but it didn't overshadow the whiskey, it started sweet and ended robustly. I give it 4 stars because the experience was very different on the first and the 10th day. The next bottle will go into a decanter and will be consumed after a few days!
οκ.....πολύ ενδιαφέρον ......αγόρασα 3 φιάλες απο τον ΑΒ γιατι στα 26 ευρω ηταν η τιμή που πλήρωσα το double cask 3 χρόνια πρίν, και εκει που εχουν παει οι τιμές το θεωρησα καλό value for money. Πρώτη εμπειρία μέτρια, φάνηκε πολύ αλκοολικό, με έντονη "σκουριά" στην επίγευση, με το αλκοολικό του κομμάτι να σβήνει όλα τα αρωματα. Με κατι φίλους φτασαμε στα μισα το μπουκάλι, το εκλεισα στην καβα και επεστρεψα μετα απο 10 ημερες. Προφανως η επαφη με τον αέρα το αλλαξε και είχα μια πολύ συναρπαστική εμπειρία. Φαινόταν το sherry αλλα δεν υπερκάλυπτε το ουίσκυ, ξεκινούσε γλυκά τελείωνε στιβαρα. Βαζω 4 αστέρια γιατι η εμπειρία ηταν πολύ διαφορετική την πρώτη και την 10η ημερα. Η επόμενη φιάλλη θα μπεί σε decanter και θα καταναλαλωθει μετα την παρέλευση ημερων!
I was hesitant because of the name, but objectively it has an excellent taste and a nice aftertaste. The price in a specific supermarket was 25€. At 33€, which is the current price, it might be a little expensive.
Ήμουν διστακτικός λόγω ονόματος αλλά αντικειμενικά έχει εξαιρετική γεύση και ωραία επιγευση. Η τιμή του σε συγκεκριμένο σούπερ μάρκετ ήταν στα 25€. Στα 33 που παίζει τώρα ίσως είναι λίγο ακριβό.
For the price that AB offers it when it's on sale (26€), it's a steal!!!! Amazing value for money. It's worth it!

Extremely pleasant surprise! Nice aromas, oily as much as needed, smoky and delicious in taste. For the €27 that I bought it, January 2023, I think it's worth it. Personally, I drink it straight. I say this because the result may not be the same for someone who adds ice or water or something else possibly....
Εξαιρετικά όμορφη έκπληξη! Ωραία αρώματα, λιπαρό τόσο όσο χρειάζεται, καπνιστό και υπέροχο γευστικά. Για τα 27€ που το αγόρασα, Ιανουάριος 2023, νομίζω ότι αξίζει τον κόπο. Προσωπικά το πίνω σκέτο. Το λέω γιατί πιθανόν το αποτέλεσμα δεν θα είναι το ίδιο με κάποιον που βάζει παγάκια ή νερό ή κάτι άλλο ενδεχομένως....
