This particular product was purchased for household use in order to get rid of a classic analog kitchen thermometer with a probe that was giving me some trouble when preparing frothy milk. Given its low price and the easy and practical solution it offers, I decided to give it a try. After two weeks of use, I am completely satisfied both in terms of its price and its performance.

It easily stuck low and close to the base of the milk frother (according to the instructions) and the temperatures it provides during preparation are similar to those of the analog thermometer. In other words, it is reliable. It was placed on the side that I look at while heating the milk, and as the temperature gradually rises, the green indicators of the thermometer progressively darken, indicating the increase in temperature. I had no errors in preparation whenever I used it, and the frothy milk was always at the right temperature (I stop at 65 degrees), without ever curdling and having the right texture.

I continue to wash the milk frother normally (by hand) with the thermometer attached to it, without noticing any damage or detachment. I cannot know how long it will last or if it will develop any issues over time. However, as a first impression, I can say that I am very satisfied and I believe it will be particularly helpful for beginners in frothy milk, as it is affordable, practical, and reliable. It takes away the stress of getting the right temperature for frothy milk, simplifying the process a bit without needing any other devices. If it withstands the test of time, I believe it is a must-have for a beginner!
